Do I need prior experience in tax or accounting?
No. The intensive course starts from the fundamentals of the tax system. The previous cohort included accountants, lawyers, engineers and people with no accounting background.
Are classes taught in Spanish or English?
All instruction is in Spanish. Tax terminology is taught in both languages, since forms, publications and IRS correspondence are in English.
Can I take the program from outside the United States?
Yes. Classes are live online and U.S. tax returns are prepared remotely. Bear in mind the time difference: sessions run 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Eastern Time.
What is the difference between the two programs?
The intensive course is 16 hours of technique for preparing individual returns. The annual membership is twelve months covering individual and business tax, U.S. company formation and bookkeeping, with mentoring and supervised practice.
